Big Guy!

Hi Maxwell,

We had a doctor appointment this week and things are looking good! Since you (and me) have behaved for a month, the doctor gave me some freedom back! I can now do one outing a day and then in about a week and a half I'll be off of bedrest and we'll try to get our life back in order.

When I was at the doctor on Monday my tummy was measuring small, so the doctor wanted me to get another ultrasound the next day to make sure you're growing enough. Now, I knew you were since my stomach seems HUGE, but I wanted to see you again anyway, so I got the ultrasound yesterday. And, like I said, you are definitely NOT small! You already weigh 5 lbs 11oz (average for this stage of pregnancy...34 weeks... is 4 lbs 12 oz)! So, you are in the 73 percentile for weight as of now...perfectly fine to be born early if it were to happen! What a relief!

Take care big guy,

Mommy

We're hanging in there!

Dear Little Max,

This is the fourth weekend I've been on bedrest and we're all hanging in there! You are behaving (for the most part)..you're staying put, but you still give me a scare every now and then. Last night you were pushing quite a bit...you just have to stay cozy for 2 more weeks and then the doctor will take me off the medication, and if you decide you want to enter this world, you can!

Your big brother, Noah, talks about you everyday...we got a few letters from his teachers at Mom's Day Out and the sitter saying that he says your name a lot with a big smile on his face!

We're excited to see you (in a few weeks),

Hang on buddy!

Baby Max,

You aren't even born yet and I'm already begging you for something.....you seem to want to
come into this world NOW and you have 10 more weeks until your due date (November 25th). I went to the doctor yesterday and found out that I have to take some medicine and stay off my feet (bedrest) in order to keep you healthy and safe for the next 6 weeks at least.

We did get to see you on a 3D ultrasound though! You love your hands and love to move! You're an active little guy! We can tell you have different features than your brother, but when we compared the pictures, there was a definate resemblence! We're so excited to see the two of you together!!!!

The top picture is you and the bottom was Noah when he was in my tummy!

So, I'll be writing you letters during these weeks of bedrest begging you to stay put and relax for us. We want you to be healthy and ready for this crazy family of yours, so rest up!

Love,

Your Mommy
